Bothell, WA – September 18, 2014 – Vertafore and the Network of Vertafore Users (NetVU), today announced that Denver Broncos Quarterback Peyton Manning and Good Morning America host Robin Roberts will headline the 2015 NetVU Conference in Indianapolis, IN, March 26-28, 2015. Manning, the NFL’s only five-time MVP, and Roberts, co-anchor of the top-rated “Good Morning America” will share inspiring stories of leadership and perseverance at the annual technology event.
Kitty Ambers, Chief Staff Executive for NetVU says, “It takes both head and heart to be successful in anything that you do. Peyton Manning and Robin Roberts both embody this approach to not only their respective careers, but to how they live their lives. The highs, the lows, the wins, the losses. They demonstrate how to take it all in stride, battle through the tough times, and win with grace. We can all learn something from that!”
“Each of these speakers has a proven track record of success in highly competitive fields,” said Vertafore President and CEO Alex Lintner. “We are proud these two individuals with such stand-out accomplishments will be joining us. Attendees from agencies and carriers will be inspired long after the conference ends.”
Peyton Manning has earned his place among the NFL’s greatest quarterbacks in league history. Manning entered the NFL in 1998, joining the Indianapolis Colts, and establishing strong philanthropic roots in the Indianapolis community.
Despite moving to the Denver Broncos in 2012, Manning has maintained a strong relationship with St. Vincent’s Children’s Hospital in Indianapolis, which in 2007 was renamed the “Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital at St. Vincent.”
Robin Roberts is co-anchor of ABC’s “Good Morning America.” Under her leadership, the broadcast has won four Emmy Awards for Outstanding Morning Program and is the most watched morning news program in America.
Roberts was diagnosed with breast cancer in June 2007. Her courageous and public battle has been recognized with awards and honors from organizations around the country, including The Susan G. Komen Foundation, The Congressional Families Cancer Prevention Program, and Gilda’s Club, a non-profit organization founded by the late Joel Siegel.
2015 will mark the 39th annual NetVU conference which showcases more than 130 educational sessions designed for agencies, carriers and state insurance regulators. NetVU Conference historically has been focused on agency education. Recognizing the breadth of Vertafore's customers, agencies and carriers, the 2015 NetVU Conference is being expanded to include this unparalleled range of products and customers. More than 3,000 attendees are expected for this event, making it the industry’s largest insurance technology conference. Registration is now open for the 2015 NetVU Conference.
